Lead Loan Processor

Department: Origination Services
Location: Greenwood Village, CO

We are looking to hire a talented Lead Loan Processor!

The Lead Loan Processor will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the processing staff. Ensure prompt processing within SLAs and queue management. Participate in the development and administration of processing guidelines for credit union partners. The individual has the responsibility of providing excellent dealer, credit union and internal service when interacting with all parties to accurately complete documentation vetting/verification and funding of auto loans. This individual actively processes and funds applications in one system. Achieve processing metrics and goals. Provide recommendations on process improvements and scheduling. Provide day-to-day coaching, direction, training and feedback on performance.

What you will do:

Team Lead

  • Ensure that assigned team members are providing accurate and prompt processing within guidelines. Handle escalated issues.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Directs assigned team members to ensure all queues remain within SLAs.
  • Participate in the implementation of departmental system improvements. Responsible for recommending and implementing process improvements, and/or documenting procedures.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining volume & metrics reporting.
  • Assists with meeting operational and departmental goals (i.e. department budget, overtime, service levels, turnaround times, and volume goals).
  • Provide day-to-day coaching, direction, training and feedback on performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Processing

  • Review/Quality Control contracts from dealers to ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with dealerships and credit unions.
  • Resolve problems with applications.
  • Follow up with dealers to collect missing items or stipulations
  • Send completed loan packages and/or complete funding on behalf of partner CUs

Communication

  • Ensure all communication (internal, external, oral, written) is handled in a professional manor.
  • Communicate all issues, production or otherwise and escalate as necessary.
  • Collaborate to resolve client and internal support issues both within BPO as well as within any Origence teams.

The ideal candidate:

Education:

  • High School education required

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years industry experience or within CUDC Operations
  • Must demonstrate full knowledge and competency of processing in one system (minimum) within CUDC Operations
  • Coachable, humble and hungry
  • Knowledge of financial institution operations, regulatory compliance, point of purchase or indirect auto lending or leasing is preferred but not required

Specialized Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, active listening)
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high accuracy rate.
  • Specialized problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of all required systems, including but not limited to L360 and Ideal.
  • Must be able to work independently with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet service level agreements
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver fast, efficient turnaround for partners
  • Ability to multi-task

Starting pay range: $20 - $25 / hour
