Jr. Financial Analyst

About you

The Jr. Financial Analyst is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in finance and gain hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting. The ideal candidate will support senior analysts and management in making data-driven business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Perform variance analysis and identify trends in financial data
  • Maintain and update financial models and spreadsheets
  • Assist with data gathering and financial research projects
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information in reports
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather financial inputs
  • Monitor financial performance and highlight areas of concern
  • Help prepare presentations for internal stakeholders or external partners
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations with accompanying reports and analysis
  • Process monthly billing and miscellaneous billing and accounts receivable items
  • Manage and complete AR credit card processing
  • Backup and support other functional accounting areas as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  • B. S. Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a financial or accounting role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with financial software (e.g., D365 Dynamics, Adaptive, Power BI, etc) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Specialized Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills.
  • Must be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis in Excel
  • Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Power BI a plus

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $43500 - $54500 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
