The Manager, Learning and Development will lead the design, implementation, and management of learning and development programs within the Origence Lending Services (OLS). This role involves identifying training needs, developing comprehensive training programs, and ensuring that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with various departments to align training initiatives with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Training Program Development:
    • Develop and implement training programs that meet the learning objectives of OLS unit and align with business strategy.
    • Create high-impact training using techniques that maximize learner participation, comprehension, and application of the material.
  2. Needs Assessment:
    • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development.
    • Collaborate with department heads and managers to determine training priorities and objectives.
  3. Training Delivery:
    • Design and deliver a variety of training formats, including classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
    • Utilize innovative training solutions such as social networking tools and virtual training to enhance learning experiences.
  4. Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using feedback and performance metrics to make continuous improvements.
    • Stay updated with current learning and development trends and best practices to ensure the BPO unit remains competitive.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as a strategic partner to internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and understanding their training needs.
    • Communicate training program progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in managing training programs within a BPO or similar environment.

Specialized Skills:

  • Expertise in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant learning and development methodologies (e.g., CPLP, CPTM).
  • Experience with performance management and talent development strategies.

The starting salary range for this full-time position in Greenwood Village, CO is $94000 - $118100 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
