The Financial Analyst serves as the lead for financial reporting and analysis within Origence Lending Services (OLS) and its subsidiary, FI Connect. The Financial Analyst will work with teams across the company to help manage reporting, budgeting, forecasting, product profitability, prioritization of initiatives, and workforce management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Reporting

• Design and manage reporting for all business units within OLS and FI Connect related to financial performance.
• Support business owners in analysis of results leading the creating of more insightful and actionable reporting.
• Create reports for Origence stakeholders (e.g., executive team, sales, client experience) and external parties as requested.

Forecasting & Budgeting

• In collaboration with business unit owners, establish a thorough and efficient process for forecasting revenue and expenses.
• Serve as the primary contact for external stakeholders (e.g., finance and accounting and sales) with respect to budgeting and forecasting financial performance for OLS and FI Connect.
• Consistently monitor trends and gather market intelligence that may impact future performance. Engage with applicable stakeholders to assess and adjust plans accordingly.

Product Profitability

• Continuously measure and assess the inputs impacting product (service offering) profitability. This includes, but may not be limited to, overall revenue opportunity, unit price, cost of goods and operational expenses, and opportunity cost for supporting a service offering.
• In collaboration with applicable business units, report results of changes in the business and the impact on current service offerings with a recommendation to: expand the promotion and sales of an offering, invest in improving OpEx for better margins, or sunsetting the offering because it is no longer a strategic fit with organizational objectives.
• Work with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., sales, FI Connect, etc.) to assess if a new opportunity aligns with the strategy and financial goals of the organization

Prioritization of Work

• Work with applicable stakeholders throughout the organization (e.g., OLS, Product and Development, Compliance, etc.) to quantify the value of a proposed initiatives for OLS or FI Connect in order to prioritize investments of resources and funding.
• In collaboration with applicable business units, report results of changes in the business and the impact on current service offerings with a recommendation to either expand the promotion and sales of an offering, invest in improving OpEx for better margins, or sunset the offering because it is no longer a strategic fit with organizational objectives.
• Work with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., sales, FI Connect, etc.) to assess if a new opportunity aligns with the strategy

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, management, or similar field; MBA is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience with Excel and Power BI required.
• Experience with Adaptive and Microsoft Dynamic 365 is a plus.
• A minimum of two years’ experience working as a Financial Analyst with a Company of at least $50 million revenues.
• Experience as a business analyst is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of all accounting functional areas

Specialized Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with other departments.
• Must be detail oriented, accurate, and have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise appropriate professional judgment in diverse situations.
• Must be self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Word and Excel.

The starting salary range for this full-time position in Greenwood Village, CO is $106200 - $132800 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
