The Director, Dealer Solutions is responsible for overseeing the management of assigned CUDL dealer clientele and Origence staff within a designated territory. Your team’s primary focus is on revenue growth and retention by driving sales through new dealer acquisitions, product sales and utilization. Lead and train Dealer Solutions Managers to prospect, present, and onboard dealerships to the CUDL platform, effectively communication its value to key decision-makers. Work with team to build, maintain and strengthen relationships with existing dealer clients to ensure an outstanding CUDL experience. Promote and support the adoption of CUDL Dealer Portal features to enhance product usage and retention. Drive product penetration and dealer expansion to achieve business objectives and increase market share. Success is measured through key metrics, including new dealer sales, client engagement and retention, product utilization and penetration, and revenue growth. The assigned region will require extensive travel to support the market needs as well as attending client and company meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Business Planning:

  • Collaborate with, train, and hold Dealer Solutions Managers accountable for successfully executing their roles as defined in the Dealer Solutions Manager Job Description, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
  • Conduct joint in-person visits with Dealer Solutions Managers to identify and engage potential dealerships for enrollment in the CUDL platform. Ensure Dealer Solutions Managers are effectively maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing franchise, independent, and recreational dealers while addressing areas for improvement, implementing targeted solutions, and sharing best practices.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key dealerships and regional dealer groups at multiple levels of management to drive increased market share, product adoption, and opportunities for new dealer partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Client and Product Support, Lender Solutions, Product Team, and Partnerships to address dealer account needs and improve dealer-lender collaboration.
  • Provide dealer market insights to internal teams to ensure strategic alignment between field operations and organizational goals.
  • Develop, implement, and execute assigned business plan goals, focusing on new dealer sales, revenue growth, market penetration, and product adoption.
  • Monitor dealer account billing for accuracy and assist in resolving any past-due revenue issues to maintain financial stability and client satisfaction.
  • Track and achieve performance metrics, including new dealer enrollments, client retention, engagement, product utilization, and revenue generation.
  • Extensive travel within the assigned region is required to support dealer clients, conduct in-person visits, and attend company meetings.

Administration:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of Dealer Solutions Managers. Oversee performance appraisals, incentive programs, bonuses, and other personnel functions.
  • Conduct joint in-person visits with Dealer Solutions Managers to identify and engage potential dealerships for enrollment in the CUDL platform. Ensure Dealer Solutions Managers are effectively maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing franchise, independent, and recreational dealers while addressing areas for improvement, implementing targeted solutions, and sharing best practices.

Client Management:

  • Ensure the formation, maintenance, and enhancement of dealer relationships and feedback systems.
  • Maintain interface to Lenders, Dealers and other Origence partners. In person representation at select dealer, Origence, lender or industry events.
  • Build key client relationships within assigned market. Solution provided for elevated client issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education:

  • BA or BS degree or commensurate experience

Experience:

  • Ten years’ knowledge of the automobile industry, auto leasing, credit unions, and indirect lending. Digital Retail marketing and Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Six years’ experience managing and overseeing the expansion of a business including staff and the related programs throughout a territory/region.

  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and analytical skills

  • Specialized problem solving and trouble shooting skills in the dealer and indirect lending business model
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have proficient Internet and e-mail skills
  • Ability to travel and must possess a valid driver’s license

The starting annual range for this full-time position is $80000 - $100000 per year plus a quarterly incentive plan. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. .
