Learning and Development Coordinator

As a Learning and Development Coordinator, your goal is to support the organization’s learning and development initiatives and talent development. You play a key role in continuously improving our learning programs, working in partnership with several departments across the organization to. The primary systems you will be supporting include but are not limited to LinkedIn Learning, Engagedly, and SharePoint.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate and assist in Origence learning and development initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of training communications. Design and edit slide decks, announcements, flyers, graphics, and more. Draft, publish, monitor, and maintain training schedules, calendars, dashboards, and webpages.
  • Implement and deliver pre and post surveys/assessments, and update learner insight reports for stakeholders.
  • Point of contact for learning program portals and websites such as Harvard Business School Online and SharePoint.
  • Prepare learning reports and status updates on programs to different levels of management.
  • Stay up to date with current learning and talent development trends and practices through articles, online trainings, webinars, conferences, and more. Maintain awareness and knowledge of current and future changes within legal, regulatory, and technology environments related to training and development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested including secondary HR and Administrative support.

The Ideal Candidate:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

Experience

  • 1-2 years of HR Generalist and/or Learning & Development experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint
  • Prior knowledge of HR processes and/or Learning/Development concepts
  • Time management, analytical, problem-solving and research skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Specialized Skills:

  • Any previous experience working with Learning Management Systems and LinkedIn Learning.
  • Microsoft SharePoint

The starting hourly range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $26.54 - $33.18 an hour. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
